Cincy Reigns Launches ‘Let’s Reign’ Campaign, Announces ‘First Class’

CINCINNATI, Ohio (March 13, 2023)

Cincy Reigns, a Name, Image and Likeness (“NIL”) fundraising collective that helps Bearcats’ student-athletes in all sports monetize their personal brands while supporting the Greater Cincinnati philanthropic community, announced the launch of the “Let’s Reign Campaign” and the signing of its “First Class” of student-athletes on Tuesday.

The “Let’s Reign Campaign” is a call for 7,000 donors to each donate $350 by July 1, 2023, which marks the day the Bearcats officially join the Big 12.

“The time is now,” said Brian Fox, Chair of the Cincy Reigns Board of Directors. “We are less than four months away from Cincinnati joining the Big 12, and to compete in our new conference we need all of the financial support we can get in order to provide the best NIL opportunities for our Bearcats. We are asking for like-minded fans and donors to get involved by participating in our Let’s Reign Campaign as we ‘Build the Kingdom’ and give UC student-athletes best-in-class NIL opportunities.”

Bearcats’ supporters can donate to the Let’s Reign Campaign here.

About Cincy Reigns

Cincy Reigns is a third-party entity (operating both a nonprofit corporation and limited liability company) that will work closely with UC compliance, licensing, legal and UC’s sports marketing professionals to protect UC student-athletes and ensure compliance with all NCAA and UC NIL policies and guidelines.

Consistent with numerous other NIL Collectives across the country, Cincy Reigns has a two-part leadership structure comprised of a Board of Directors and a Board of Advisors. The Board of Directors is responsible for the legal governance, financial accountability, and casting the vision and direction of Cincy Reigns. The Board of Advisors will serve as a sounding board for UC’s student athletes as they navigate professional decisions and opportunities

Additionally, Cincy Reigns wants UC’s student athletes to thrive on and off the field, during their time as students, and well after graduation. Accordingly, Cincy Reigns will offer character and life education opportunities for student-athletes so they learn how to successfully compete at more than just the sport they love.
